TITLE Early Gallops, Middleham
Horse racing is a huge part of Middleham life and there are now over a dozen racing stables in the town and some fine all weather gallops above the castle. The castle itself was once owned by Richard the Third and was used as a base to administer the northern counties for Richard’s brother Edward1V.
