Description

Cullernose Point lies on the North East coast of England in the glorious county of Northumberland. The blue/black rocks form part of the Whin Sill, an igneous intrusion covering large areas of the Northumberland, Teesdale and Weardale, from Holy Island in the North to Lunedale in the South.

Many of the great castles of the area are built upon the Sill – Holy Island itself, Dunstanburgh, Bamburgh and the mighty Alnwick, filming location for Harry Potter, Downton Abbey. The castle has long been associated with the Powerful Percy family and is currently the home of Ralph Percy, 12th Duke of Northumberland.

After an original mixed media painting by David Stead, this beautiful signed, limited edition Giclee print is on highest quality paper, the surface has a special matte coating, designed for fine art reproduction with giclee technology. It is an acid free media with archival properties. The print is limited to an edition of only 200 and comes with a certificate of authentication.
