Fishing Hut, Upper Blackhall Beat, River Dee.
A mixed media painting on conservation board made on the riverbank of the River Dee in the Cairngorms of Scotland during a recent visit.
In September I was kindly invited for a few days salmon fishing on the river Dee near Banchory, Kincardineshire in the gloriously beautiful Cairngorms. I made this drawing of one of the fishing huts on the Upper Blackhall Beat where we would gather for lunch and perhaps a glass of Champagne (Don’t mind if I do!). Did I catch? I did.
