New Shropshire Studio
David’s new temporary studio in Shropshire is now a functioning space and he’s already begun a large scale (2mtrs x 1mtr) oil on canvas of the mid Shropshire landscape. The painting features the iconic Caer Caradoc, The Lawley and The Wrekin and is moving forward apace.

Turner In Shropshire
JMW Turner visited Shrewsbury in 1794 and painted the old Welsh bridge. It appears from the painting that the new bridge (pictured above) was under construction at the time. In the background towering above is the new St Chads built two years before Turner painted this bridge.
